There currently is a bug in the Android SDK that makes 'local' searches impossible. Frown

Until the bug is fixed all searches you make are treated as global searches and therefore only 'big things' are found. To verify the GeoCoder is working search for 'JFK' which should bring you to the famous airport near New York.
